We
appreciate your interest in online courses and hope that your
student will find online learning to be rewarding and challenging.
What
to know before signing up for an online course. Online
courses require about the same amount of work as regular high
school classes. However, you will notice that online
learning requires a greater student responsibility when completing
assignments and activities. We have found that active support
of parents and schools can play a key role in assisting the
student to complete coursework as well as developing the work
ethic needed to be successful in this learning environment. Virtual Greenbush is an accredited distanced education
program by the Commission on International and Trans-Regional
Accreditation (CITA) and North Central Association (NCA) Commission
on Accreditation and School Improvement.
Students enrolling in a course offered by Virtual Greenbush
are required to work back through a local school district.
Students take Virtual Greenbush courses for many reasons including:
curriculum expansion, credit recovery, scheduling programs, alternative
programs. Please
do not hesitate to contact Virtual Greenbush at 620-724-6281,
or send us an e-mail at vgbinfo@greenbush.org
for more information or to answer any questions you may have. |
