Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
(COPPA)

Notice of Information Practices with Regard to Children:

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act prohibits some online companies from collecting personally identifying information about children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, we require that parental consent prior to the completion of any Virtual Greenbush registration.

Parents of children under the age of 13 may use the forms located at the bottom of this page to provide consent.

Virtual Greenbush does not collect personally identifiable information about individuals, except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals during our registration process. In those instances Virtual Greenbush collects the following information directly through its course registration process: student name, phone number, mailing address, e-mail address, birth date, and sponsoring school information. Other information may be requested but are optional. Registrants will not be required to provided more information that is reasonably necessary to complete the registration process, and Virtual Greenbush does not limit the participation of individuals based on their decision not to disclose information list as optional on the registration form.

Provided that we have received parental consent personally identifiable information collected by Virtual Greenbush from children under the age of 13 will be used only for Virtual Greenbush purposes. This includes communication of such information to the school in which the student is enrolled.

The parents of children under the age of 13 have the right to review and delete the child's personal information, and to refuse to permit further collection or use of the child's personal information by completing and returning the appropriate Optional Form for Parents which is provided at the end of this page.
